Do you think it is better for Chinese children to attend international schools in China or go abroad directly?
您覺(jué)得的中國(guó)的孩子在國(guó)內(nèi)讀國(guó)際學(xué)校更好，還是直接出國(guó)更好?
Anthony Uiterwijk：
I think it's really important for students to go to an international school in China first, especially younger children because they first need to build their cultural identity if you put a child between 8 and 18 years straight away in a foreign country, without any education about those countries or any character education, those children will really, really struggle. They need to know who they are themselves before they can expose themselves to people overseas.

What abilities do you think students who want to enter elite international schools should have?
您覺(jué)得想進(jìn)精英國(guó)際學(xué)校的學(xué)生，應(yīng)該具備哪些能力?
Anthony Uiterwijk：
The first of all, need to have a good level of English and if they haven't got a good level of English, I would suggest that they actually take extra classes to make sure that when they enter international school that they can actually cope straight away within structions in English, because otherwise they will end up in a pre class and they might actually have a little delay in their development. So learning English is a real pre when you come to an international school in China.
首先，需要有一個(gè)良好的英語(yǔ)水平，如果他們沒(méi)有一個(gè)好的英語(yǔ)水平，我建議他們額外上課，以當(dāng)他們進(jìn)入國(guó)際學(xué)校時(shí)，他們可以直接處理英語(yǔ)的指示，否則他們將困在課堂上，這也會(huì)影響到他們之后的學(xué)習(xí)。所以，當(dāng)你來(lái)到中國(guó)的一所國(guó)際學(xué)校時(shí)，學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)是一個(gè)真正的前提。

Which ones need to be prepared in advance, and which ones need to be ultivated after entering school?
哪些需要在就讀前做準(zhǔn)備，哪些又需要在入讀后不斷培養(yǎng)的呢?
Anthony Uiterwijk：
When you're in the international school, you still have to keep up your English. For instance, a lot of reading. I know that is hard for a lot of students when they go home and the parents don't speak any English, but we use an online program, for instance, the children can actually read and listen to books at home and it doesn't need any parent input.
當(dāng)你在國(guó)際學(xué)校的時(shí)候，你仍然需要保持你的英語(yǔ)水平，例如大量閱讀。我知道這對(duì)很多學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)是很難的，當(dāng)他們回家的時(shí)候，父母不會(huì)說(shuō)英語(yǔ)，但是我們使用一個(gè)在線程序，幫助孩子在休息的時(shí)間繼續(xù)在家里看書(shū)和聽(tīng)書(shū)，對(duì)父母的語(yǔ)言能力不要求。
